Happy New Year

Another year, must be almost time for another ceremony...!

Though not quite, it does feel a little like that. We had such a fantastic time on the 15th of August last year, that it's going to be hard to top it in NZ, but we're going to give it a damn good try. Thanks so much to all of you who managed to make it along to Chilworth for what turned out to be a wonderful day.

Planning is well under way for the NZ event, and you should all be receiving invites in the next few days (maybe a little longer for those in NZ)... I've taken down the bits of the site that don't matter anymore and am in the process of resetting all the RSVP settings so you can respond again ;-) We're doing a giant BBQ for dinner this time, so there's no need to select what you'd like to eat ahead of time, just help yourselves on the night.

Right, that about covers it for now, better get these NZ invites in the post, or it'll be May before you see them.

Update 26th July

Three weeks to go and we're taking care of the final details... lots of you have asked us about gifts, so we've updated the gifts page with some ideas (thought really, we'd rather you didn't!)

We also need to know what you'd like to enjoy for dinner, so if you've not already done so please can you make a selection from the dinner page.

A decision has also been made about what to do the bank holiday weekend after the wedding, and we settled on Barcelona, details are here if you'd like to join us...

Oh, and we thought that we might head down to Swanage on the Sunday (the 17th) for a day out, for those of us who are inclined, there's lots of good climbing there, for others, plenty of cafes, walking and beach...

Update 15th June

The countdown is really on now, with it being exactly two months until the big day. We were up at Chilworth today talking with 'our' wedding manager Colleen, who is really lovely...

If you've yet to RSVP, please can you do so... We've also now finalised the options for dinner, and we'd ask that you please make your selections so that we can start getting that list together too...

 


Since so many of the people that we wanted to invite live so far away we thought a website would be the easiest way to keep people up to date with what's happening, and to gather information that we need as we go along...

At this stage we'd love for you to RSVP, and also let us know if you're interested in joining us on a little European adventure the following weekend... We're asking you to vote for your preferred destination!
